Spanish Classic Dishes

Spain was divided into a lot of regions and each region holds their own special individual identity as well as regional cooking quality. However, some favourite Spanish cooking ingredients and cooking techniques are shared throughout the country, meaning that some of the Spanish dishes have entered a classic repertoire of common foods.

Some of the Spanish dishes that often fall into Spanish classic category will be the tapas such as salads and grilled fish and dishes based around the staple foods such as breads, pulses and grains. Many desserts, too, falls into this category where regional variation is less pronounced here, with many classic desserts being based around, rice, milk and natural flavourings such as orange, cinnamon and vanilla.
